Employment ConneXions ~ Supported Employment ~ Real Jobs for Real Pay

Employment ConneXions is a program that assists persons with a developmental disability to find and keep quality employment. This program is funded by CLBC and is free of charge for participants and employers. We help job seekers with career exploration, job development, on the job coaching and follow up support once a participant has found a successful job match.

Employment ConneXions believes in building lasting relationships with businesses by providing pre-screening of applicants, on site job training and monitoring, follow up support for both the employer and the new employee.

Customized Employment ConneXions  ~ Creating Individualized Jobs One Person at a Time

The Customized Employment Program is an employment service for persons with Specified Disabilites this includes Developmental, Neurological, Mental Health Disabilities (including Autism Spectrum Disorder), Learning Disorder, and other cognitive conditions. This program is funded in whole or part through the Canada - British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement and the Ministry of Housing and Social Development.

The Customized Employment Program focuses on individual job opportunities, developed one person at a time. This program aims to individualize the employment relationship between the job seeker or employee and an employer in ways that meet the needs of both. It is based on building a match between the unique strengths, needs, and interests of the job seeker, and the identified business needs of the employer. 

The service includes job development, job coaching, employer disability awareness as well as follow up support for both employee and employer.
